Named after a mythic Columbian goddess this Silicon Alley restaurant has a slightly Latin American tinge to its totally vegan/vegetarian offerings. But this is New York and other influences are blended in the pot. And for those looking for cool food there are salads.

| Great food, Bad service 8/15/02
Both of my breakfast experiences at Bachue have involved a grouchy or rude server, one over the phone. What a shame when the one meal I did have was fantastic and the rest of the menu looks the same. I applaud Bachue's courtesy toward the environment, but they could show a little more to their clientele! |
Amazing Restaurant! 5/10/03
The people who run this vegetarian oasis seem to care about what they do. It feels more like a family-run restaurant than most restaurants and it is appreciated. They have an amazing menu and most of the dishes are full of natural flavors. Don’t overlook having brunch at Bachue! Their vegan French Toast is truly stupendous with a delicious nutty bread base. Support this great restaurant ... they deserve it! |
